What’s it all about?

Do you have holes in your jumpers and socks and don’t know how to fix them? Are you scared of darning or wish there was a faster method?

Needle felting is a super quick, super fun, addictive alternative to darning that will have you ploughing through your mending basket in no time. Your knitwear will be proudly, visibly mended and have a new story to tell.

What will we cover?

You’ll learn the needle felting repair technique and how to create different shapes out of wool to patch holes, including polka dots, crosses and stripes.

We’ll provide mending tools and supplies; please BYO knitwear items in need of repair. Jumpers and knit scarves work best with this technique, and items with multiple small holes are ideal. No prior mending experience is required.
