What’s it all about?

Have you ever wanted to learn some metal craft and create a gorgeous decorative item or gift in the process?

In this class you’ll learn the basics of working with copper. You’ll design, cut, assemble and personalise your own copper rose, perfect for decoration or as a gift.

What will we cover?

This beginner’s metalwork class will be a hands-on workshop to create a gorgeous copper flower. You will learn how to work with copper, design your own unique flower, cut, assemble and personalise it to your tastes.

All materials and equipment will be provided and you’ll go home with your creation and instructions so you can make more at home!

Who will be teaching?

Gordon Young is the owner of ‘Copper, Bone and Light’ handmade crafts. He is also a professional ethicist, environmental consultant and lecturer, and teacher of our Ethics for Our Future World series.
