What’s it all about?
Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit? This age old skill is super easy to learn and you will be able to use your new found skill to make beautiful scarves or cute little wash cloths in no time!
What will we cover?
In this hands-on workshop we’ll cover everything needed for beginners’ knitting:
- casting on (getting started)
- knitting
- purling
- casting off (finishing your knitting).
We’ll work together and focus on casting on and the ‘knit’ stitch. There will also be take home resources to practice with and solidify anything that you didn’t quite pick up during the class.
At the end of the class you will walk away with a cute little knitted washcloth and make up wipes. It’s a great beginner piece and also eco friendly too!
Who will be teaching?
Nadia is the founder and creative director of Nadia Foti, a luxury women’s wear clothing label that is made in Melbourne. Nadia is passionate about sustainability and uses natural materials where possible, for her up-cycled designer fabrics, and leather accessories.
