What’s it all about?

Not just a floor covering! Printing with Lino cut is similar to woodcut printmaking but because it has no grain it can be easier to work with. It has been used for printing for over a 100 years and the printing technique was originally for making wall paper. Learn the whole process from design, carving, inking and printing.

What will we cover?

In this workshop you will learn all you need to know to make your first linocut and go home with a limited edition print of your design.

If you have a particular idea for the image in mind, you can bring some photos or preparatory drawings. No worries if you don’t, we’ll help you work on your design as well!
