What’s it all about?

Does jealousy impose a particular hue, or can you ever be embarrassed enough to really resemble a beetroot?

As an intrinsic part of how we perceive and describe the world, colour represents a broad and complex subject that forms the backbone of many endeavours including art, design and interior decoration.

But beyond this, colour helps to convey emotion and represent values, and forms an important part of the way in which we communicate.

What will we cover?

In this session you will discover the fundamentals of colour and colour theory.

From biological processes and scientific principles to artistic concepts and methodologies, you will learn the vocabulary of colour and methods for crafting your own colour palettes for any application.

Who will be teaching?

Cameron is a Melbourne based painter, designer and educator who is passionate about art and the science that underpins it. Having spent the past 20 years working with both physical and digital palettes, Cameron has developed a deep understanding of the science that unites and divides the two.
