What’s it all about?
Concrete has become so trendy lately! From humble construction material to popular home decor, you can now see concrete candle holders, planters, platers and more at many stores. Come to this class and learn how to use concrete in your crafty projects as well as making a planter to take home with you.
What will we cover?
In this class we will learn:
- What sorts of concrete use, what to take into consideration, other tips and tricks
- We’ll all be doing a concrete planter together
- Demo of how to finish your planter off. As yours will be drying, we’ll demo a few examples of how to paint/ decorate the planter.
Who will be teaching?
Maria Yebra has crafted many cute and weird things in her life from fox hoodies to bias tape planters, wax skulls and cat rings. She loves to upcycle and has an extensive collection of loved “crap” she plans to turn into something useful one day.
In addition to crafting, she also has a passion for cooking and baking, light painting, Spanish shoes and running Laneway Learning.
