What’s it all about?

Air-Dry Clay is a natural earth clay which air-dries to a hard solid without using an oven or kiln. You can use it to make all sorts of items from sculptures to home decor. In these classes we’ll be playing with clay to create our own little trinket plates and decorative items.

What will we cover?

We’ll be learning:

  • Week 1 -First class: how to use air dry clay, tips and tricks for home use, how to make trinket plates or ring holders, embossing/ texturing and if you are up for it you can even try sculpting more complicated things.
  • Week 2 -Second class: Once our creations have fully dried we will learn about painting clay and different finishing options to make your creations more durable or waterproof .
