What’s it all about?
‘Calligraphy’ is the art of letters. It exists all around us: on TV, magazines, advertisements, menu, signboards… Calligraphy has a simple but strong impact on our lives; used well, you can leave unforgettable impression on people. At this class we’ll show you a few different ways to make your art.
What will we cover?
This class focuses on calligraphy for beginners and we will be making a special card for either Christmas or an event of your choosing calligraphy during this class.
First, we’ll have a quick overview of what calligraphy is. After that, we will decide what kind of card to make among a few options and then we’ll practice to get it all right. The more you practice the better! Then we will write our own calligraphy for the cover and we will finish making the rest of the card.

Who will be teaching?
Rachel Chung comes from Seoul, the city that is becoming the new centre of fashion. Rachel is an international image consultant and an image therapist who is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI). She has mentored students for interview image strategy in high schools, colleges and universities as well as coaching salespeople in customer service and business image. She is the co-founder of SCT image consulting company, specialising in global image consultancy and personality analysis. She has just launched Essence by Rachel Chung, an image consultancy.
