What’s it all about?

Dietary fads come and go all the time, advocating everything from raw salads to superfoods and coconut water. Chinese medicine, one of the longest lasting of all basic dietary principles has been passed down through generations of Chinese. We will look at what these principles are and why some people have continued to follow them.

What will we cover?

In this class we will cover:

  • a basic overview of Chinese medicine
  • the when, how and what to eat of basic Chinese dietary principles, and the things that are avoided

Who will be teaching?

Kim Riley and Naomi Jankowski are both Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, predominantly practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine. In their day-to-day practice they have found they have little time to run through the intricacies of food therapy but they both love food and cooking. They are looking to sharing their knowledge about what Chinese Medicine is and are keen to share some of their recipes for good flavour and potential good health.
