What’s it all about?

Braiding has been used for centuries to adorn women’s hair. It seems impossible that such an ancient form of hairstyling can keep being reinvented again and again, but it can! Even veteran braiders still love learning new braids and coming up with new styles.

Once you master the basics of braiding you can tackle any braid. So if you think braiding is too hard and that you will never be able to do it, think again, it’s as simple as 1-2-3.

What will we cover?

This is a demo and a hands-on class. Each braid will be shown on a model and then we’ll practice on each other, or on ourselves – whatever takes your fancy. Let’s have some fun with it!

We will start with a simple plait to get your fingers moving, then move onto the basic French braid, sharing easy step-by-step techniques. We will share a few trending tricks to make your braid ‘pop’ and then we will head onto the slightly different Dutch braid.

You will leave the class with all the basic skills to start braiding straight away and with a pretty braid in your hair too. Come prepared to have a go and lots of fun.
