What’s it all about?

Storytelling is a great way to connect with people, pass on information and have fun!

Develop confidence in your oral storytelling abilities while learning an easy way to remember stories. We’re going to learn how to listen to, adapt and tell stories through a traditional African folktale.

In this class you will learn how to find the bones of the story, and then practice filling in the details though a series of exercises.

What will we cover?

In this workshop we will:

  • Learn the bones of the story
  • Fill in the story through our own creative imagination
  • Get tips and tricks to remember your story
  • Develop storytelling confidence
  • Share your story with the group

Who will be teaching?

She loves to get other people talking too! She hosts conference sessions, workshops, book clubs, radio shows and book launches, She is is passionate about teaching poetry and storytelling and is the Creative Director of Sparking Change, a Australia based organisation that uses StoryWork for social change.
