What will we cover?
- How to prepare, mask and paint your canvas, using colour combinations that work
- We will run through several simple and effective stitches that can be used – depending on the texture and feel you prefer for your creation
- All materials provided, including a variety of images that you can choose from to stitch, and canvas & thread which you can take home to complete your project.
Who will be teaching?
Artist Marloes Bakker-Marsden teaches a wide variety of both traditional art mediums and a wide variety of crafts, truly multi-skilled she loves sharing her skills and passions with others in a light-hearted and fun way that makes the experience totally enjoyable and rewarding for everyone involved.
She also used to run a successful event company which taught her many skills from floral arrangements and decoration to terrariums, prop making, a broad range of stitchery and sewing skills and just about every craft out there!
