What’s it all about?

Ever wondered how they make those cool multicolour beads you see in some necklaces? or wanted to do your own jewellery but not that crafty or creative? Make polymer clay beads! In this class we will learn how to make quirky and unusual beads to thread onto necklaces and bracelets. Polymer Clay is easy to mould and bake into your own unique and durable jewellery.

What will we cover?

We will learn to very cool techniques in this class:
– Marbling to make 2-3 coloured beads with funky patterns
– Millepunti technique which makes polka dot style beads
Make and use striking beads for making statement necklace or bracelet to wear or as a gift for someone else. Stand out from the crowd!

Who will be teaching?

Clare MacDonald is all sorts of crafty, specially with upcycled materials. She has always been an avid sculptor, seamstress and painter. She also teaches the air dry claytastic creations class.  You can follow some of her crafty pursuits on her instagram.
