What’s it all about?

They often say ‘you are what you eat’ but how far does that concept actually go? Do you suspect certain foods are impacting on your moods, but not sure how to narrow it down to the actual culprit(s)?

This class is about exploring your gut feelings. Perhaps you are experiencing more than just physical symptoms and seeing the presence of a gut-brain-mood connection? All the answers we need are actually inside us – we just need to learn how to tune in and listen for them!

Join Lozzy and be introduced to food and mood journaling, how to do journaling effectively and knowing what to listen for.

What will we cover?

  • The benefits of keeping a food and mood journal
  • Tips for keeping a food and mood journal
  • How to start tuning in to your “gut feelings”

  • Top 10 foods that could be triggering symptoms and the sneaky places they are in
  • What to swap to if you want to trial eliminating any of these foods

What will you need?

  • Paper, pen, pencil or your note taking device

Who will be teaching?

Lauren “Lozzy” Barnao found that tuning into her own gut feelings helped her to calm niggling digestive issues and find tools for coping with the stress and overwhelm from working in the busy corporate world. This journey led her to study with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and she now runs her own wellness coaching business by night, while still working in the busy corporate world by day. She works to help other time poor women to calm the gut, mind and body without deprivation or confusion. Lozzy is a gut health geek, try hard yogi and huge dog lover, fostering rescue dogs, while also having two of her own. Connect with her on Facebook  and Instagram
