What’s it all about?

Are you in awe of those awesome pop-ups cards you see on the Vic Market? Maybe you know the exact design you want but can’t find it anywhere?

Come along and learn the basics behind creating your own pop-up cards so you can dazzle friends and foe alike!

What will we cover?

We will be working from a few different templates to learn all about how to cut and fold a variety of pop-up cards.

PaperLou will teach you the basics behind creating your very own cards and introduce you to a variety of top-secret methods, as well as show you what kind of paper to use. Before you know it you will be designing your own cool pop-up cards to show off to friends and family!

From pixel pop-ups to origami architecture you will be cutting, slicing and folding away to make awesome 3D pop-up cards.

Who will be teaching?

Louise SeymourLouise (aka PaperLou) is a paper fanatic whose fascination with this medium began at the age of 5 with the introduction of kinder squares and clag glue. Over the years her paper engineering skills have soared to new heights and she’s spent endless hours folding, cutting and gluing away in her own paper paradise. With an extensive paper collection (that may or may not have taken over her apartment!) PaperLou loves exploring new ways to innovate with paper.
