What’s it all about?

Join us and learn how to fold an intricate modular origami ball that can be used as a keychain, and explore many other ideas such as ornaments and origami jewellery.

What will we cover?

In this session you will learn how to fold a piece of modular origami that can be used as a keychain, an ornament or even for jewellery; it’s just a matter of scale. You will learn how to fold an origami cube with six different papers all connected in one that will pop out into a beautiful 3D ball, called Brocade.

In the end you will take home an origami keychain to hold your keys. If you keep practicing this model you will be able to fold it smaller and smaller, tiny enough as to use it as a beautiful pair of paper earrings.

Who will be teaching?

Manuela is an origami enthusiast and has a background in mathematics. She is passionate about geometry, jewellery and origami. At the moment, Manuela spends her time creating jewellery and decorative art using many different origami models.
