What will we cover?
Dig up a teeny background story on the terrarium, and discover what makes these things work – and not work. Find out what materials to use and how to not break the bank in sourcing them. Learn plant, assembly and care recommendations, plus tricks of the terrarium trade for trouble-shooting.
Provided with specifically selected “ingredients” and guidance you’ll assemble your plant-pet masterpiece on the night. Candy will fill your head and your hearts with handy hints and inspiration to become a terrarium making maven.
Who will be teaching?
Candy Sparkles is tantalized by terrariums and sick for succulents. She loves any Steven Segal-like plant creations – yup, she likes ’em hard to kill. For years she’s cultivated and propagated these puppies and loves to share her lust for, and knowledge of them with like-minded peeps.
If not hanging with her ratbags or container plants, you’ll find her up-cycling like a madwoman, or wearing her dirty fingernails as a badge of honor as she revels in pottery, woodwork, macramé, or mercy-dashes to rescue treasure from the trash.
Most of all Candy loves finding economical and smart ways to get the longest, happiest, and lowest-maintenance existence out of her plant-presents and hand-made goodies.
