What’s it all about?

Would you like to wear square scarves but don’t know how to tie them?  Do you wish you looked more like Audrey Hepburn and less like Nanna when wearing one? Are you bored of wearing your winter scarves the same way each time? This class will boost your scarf confidence and help you get more wear out of the scarves you already own. Add a pop of colour and style to even the most basic outfits and have your friends wondering what’s different about you and why you look so fabulous, darling.

What will we cover?

You’ll learn the best places to buy scarves, how to care for them and a few different ways to wear them. We’ll demonstrate tying methods for silky square scarves and rectangular pashmina-style scarves that look great on everyone. This is a hands-on class with plenty of time for practice; BYO scarves.

Who will be teaching?

Erin_copyErin is a scarf addict with nearly 70 in her collection (and counting). She especially adores vintage square scarves and has spent 20 years figuring out the best tying methods. In her version of heaven, she will be reunited with her favourite, long-lost, orange polka-dotted scarf (pictured – if you’ve seen it, please let her know!). When not tying knots she manages Bright Sparks, a not-for-profit social enterprise that reuses, repairs and recycles small appliances to keep them out of landfill.
