Ever wondered about native gardening but don’t know where to begin? Ever looked at the swath of dying grass at your house and thought it would be nice to have something that doesn’t die every summer or that flowers even in the middle of winter?

Ever wondered how you can help support bees and native wildlife even if you don’t own a forest?

Natives are a great option for any space and any budget and any skill level! and now is a great time to start planning and preparing so you’re ready to plant in spring!

What will we cover?

We’ll cover everything you need to get started planning your native garden from reasons to go native, how to select the perfect plants for your space and lifestyle as well how to get everything started right! You’ll walk out with a plan for your native garden along with plant lists and resources for buying your plants!

  • Paper (ideally graph paper) pens & pencils
  • Measurements of your garden space

Beth MasseyWho will be teaching?

Beth works in IT during Monday to Friday but is an a passionate native gardener and suburban beekeeper on weekends. Over the past 5 years, she’s transformed her suburban garden into a haven for birds, butterflies, frogs and possums.
