What’s it all about?

In this class we will learn how to make a simple posy that looks amazing by using sticks, grass, and folded leaves to compliment a group of flowers. With these ideas you will be able to jazz up any simple bunch of flowers in your own home.

What we will cover?

This is a one night beginner class where you will learn how to put flowers together to make a posy. We will go over simple techniques that will enhance the look of your posy; for example folding leaves and bending sticks. Also we will discuss colours and flowers that work together.

Miss Emily has always been interested in the creative arts, after finishing a Diploma in Visual Arts she then went on study floristry. She has now been working in the industry for 10 years both in Melbourne and overseas in London. 4 years ago Emily started teaching floristry in the Private Sector and took on a Degree in adult education and learning development.

Now Miss Emily owns a floral and cake shop in Spotswood called ‘A Bunch of Cakes‘ where they specialise in flowers for all occasions, and homemade cupcakes. They also support other local businesses buy stocking foodie products and gifts.
