What’s it all about?
Crème caramel, flan, caramel custard, egg pudding or caramel pudding is a custard dessert with a layer of clear caramel sauce and is actually a very simple but yummy recipe. Traditional from South America, this delicious and sweet latino dessert is not too difficult and will wow friends once we are allowed to share it with folks again!
What will we cover?
In this class, we will get step by step guidance to making this delicious desert at home. Follow the class in your kitchen and make your own flan in a fun “Cookalong” style.
What will you need?
- 4 eggs
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1.5 cups of milk
- vanilla essence
- sugar
- water
- roasting dish, a watertight container (preferably a baking tray or tin) that fits INSIDE the roasting dish.
- an Egg Beater (or even a good strong fork if you don’t have one)
Who will be teaching?
Fran is a craft queen. Teaching everything from polymer jewellery, tassel making , screen printing to building mini models, and now share her families favourite deserts too
