What’s it all about?

This class is an invitation for people of all ages and backgrounds to leave the busyness of everyday life behind to stop, rest and reflect. It is an opportunity for profound conversation and mindful connection. Explore the science and practice of self-compassion, and its importance when reflecting and setting new goals. The class is based on the research of Brene Brown Ph.D and Kristen Neff Ph,D, it will be conducted in a safe, supportive and phone-free environment and will involve short structured exercises, guided practices, personal/private reflection and a group ethos of deep listening and friendly speech.

What we will cover?

In this intimate group class, you will meet like-minded people and discuss looking after yourself through periods of high stress and practical tools to support ourselves in building an incredible life in 2020.

During this introductory class you will learn how to:

  • Reflect with compassion on 2018
  • Manage Stress with self-compassion
  • Live a more meaningful and purposeful life
  • Connect with other like-minded people

Who will be teaching?

JossyJossy has an MA in human development and is a graduate of the Mindfulness Certification program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Mindful Schools. She also has training in mindfulness-based stress reduction from UCSD (San Diego), cultivation of compassion (Stanford) and the science of happiness (Berkeley). She has lived and studied in the Omega Institute, NY and shares her work in different parts of the world, mainly the USA, Mexico and now Australia.
