In 2015, Laneway Learning partnered up with the Melbourne Library Service to offer you more fun, entertaining learning in libraries across town. Starting in November we hosted four varied, FREE classes: Partner Dancing, The Ultimate Pancake, Travel Photography and Braiding.

The classes were on November 12th and 19th, both Thursdays, at 6:15pm and 8:00pm at Southbank Library @ Boyd.

Braiding: It's As Easy As 1, 2, 3

What do you have in common with Rachel McAdams, Jessica Alba, and Katy Perry? Your hair can be braided to look just like theirs! From straight to curly hair, there’s a braid for every person and every occasion — for running to the shops to walking down the red carpet. Learn how to do complicated braids you’d never thought you’d be able to manage, and leave with a brand-new hairstyle!

Follow My Lead: Partner Dancing for Parties

Like, spinning and twirling, stuff you see in old movies that looks like heaps of fun? Come and learn all the skills you need to dance with someone, with all the sweet moves and none of the confusion!

The Ultimate Pancake

Pancakes, crepes, galletes, blintzs, panneokeks, crumpets… All of them are different varieties of “pancakes” from around the world.

It’s a delicious meal, savoury or sweet, that can be used for breakfast, as dessert or for a snack. The most important feature of pancakes is the fact that you can add to them sweet or savoury toppings and fillings and they’re always going to be awesome.
