What’s it all about? Utilising mindfulness, this workshop on Mandala art connecting us to nature through the use of flowers and other natural materials. We tap into our creative expression to foster balance both within the art and witness the flow on effect on ourselves. What will we cover? Though guided, there is no set design to follow, and the process is intuitive. Once complete, we spend some time journaling our reflection, followed by a time for sharing. No art experience is required, and at the end of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to take the elements of your creations with you in order to release them back into the natural world. Materials provided include flowers, leaves and stones there will also be objects available to help with shapes and spacing. Who will be teaching? Fern developed a love for flowers from a young age, seeded a recognition of the need to care for our natural world. Nicola believes art is a powerful tool to inspire conscious change. She has trade qualification in Floral Design, a Certificate in Permaculture Design and a Bachelor in Visual Art. For more information find her on Facebook at Tree Fern Reveries
