However, with a small number of moves, any cube can be completed, no matter how messed up it looks. Guaranteed to be a favourite party trick and turn you into a mind-boggling wonder among friends.
What will we cover?
Rubik’s Cube is a 40-year-old timeless puzzle. It was created by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik, and it took him a month to solve it!
In this class we’re going to have fun learning the basics of working the Cube. Then we’re going to learn how to solve Rubik’s Cube it in a few simple moves.
Please bring your own 3×3 Cube to use in the class.
Who will be teaching?
Lucie Bradley is a jill-of-all-trades and loves to sink her teeth into practical challenges and puzzles. She finally learnt to complete Rubik’s Cube after many, many hours of fiddling and is excited to teach you to do it in just 75 minutes! If her face looks familiar it’s because she is also one of the Laneway Learning Team.
