What’s it all about?

Making decisions can be tough, especially in complicated situations. What if you make the wrong choice?

Come to this class and you’ll walk away with 3 really practical tools to make decisions that people actually follow, including you! You’ll also get some tips on how to create, participate in and facilitate dynamic conversations that hear the views from the range of people in the room.

What will we cover?

This class will be useful to anyone who needs to make decisions, from big ones like ‘should I stay in my job?’ or even small ones like ‘where should I go for my next holiday?’ … So anyone!

You’ll experience 3 tools from The Lewis Method of Deep Democracy toolkit. This toolkit and roadmap is for individuals and groups looking to increase their capacity to support people to find a pathway through complex situations.

The tools are:

  • The check-in and check-out: How to make people feel welcome and express their real views.
  • 4-steps: How to hold dynamic conversations.
  • Resistance line: Why people may or may not come along and actually follow a decision made.
