What’s it all about?
Think you can’t draw? It’s time to loosen up sketchy! Drawing can be fun no matter what your skill level or age.
So if you haven’t picked up a pen for a while, or even if you draw everyday, come along for a fun filled evening of drawing activities that are sure to get you to loosen up and put some marks on the page!
What will we cover?
We will be enjoying a bunch of different drawing exercises that are designed to get your pen moving: it will be an interactive and practical based class to help let go of the idea that drawing needs to be all serious. Drawing can be as simple as allowing ourselves to make a mark!
Exploring different methods of drawing is a great way to find out which way is right for you. Paper and drawing materials will be provided for a night which is sure to get you sketching again and probably have a few laughs while you do it.
Who will be teaching?
Erin Greer is a Melbourne based illustrator and painter with a focus on the fantastical and fun. Utilising an array of mediums from watercolour and gouche to aerosol and ink, Erin works both on paper, found object and also large scale wall murals.
Her work can be seen in galleries and walls around Melbourne, and even the Mandrills enclosure at the zoo!
