What’s it all about?

Korean food has unlimited variety, but it’s always delicious. A lot of the dishes are healthy too!

Among a wide range of Korean cooking, we will learn how to make Korean pancakes (buchimgae). One of Korea’s favourite types of pancake is the kimchi pancake. These are made with sliced kimchi, flour batter and sometimes other vegetables. The other favourite is a sesame leaf pancake, made with minced pork, beef and sesame.

In this class we’ll learn how to make two different pancakes we’ll taste everything that we cook too, yum!

What will we cover?

This beginner’s class will start with an explanation of how to cook Korean pancakes. Then, we’ll cook up two different pancakes through demonstrations.

You’ll leave with all the know-how and special recipes for making your own Korean pancakes at home. Plus you’ll have some delicious food in your stomach as we will be tasting each thing that we make! So you’ll know exactly what you are aiming for.
