What’s it all about?

Have you ever seen the big palm branches on the ground at the beach? Maybe tripped over one? Let your curiosity play! Lets up-cycle these and create a stunning ball sculpture for your home. Big, medium or small. They can be made to any size, to add a natural creatively sculptural element to your home decor. Whether it’s X-mas decorations, a stunning centre piece for your table, a sculpture, or a cat’s toy. It’s your choice …. let’s make one.

What will we cover?

In the class we will learn how to prepare the palm inflorescence branches for usage, and basic random weave skills. You will make your very own sculpturally textured home décor ball to take home with you, along with the skills you need so you can make many more as you please.

Who will be teaching?

When Artist Sheryl Cole is not out curiously playing, foraging and exploring the outdoors, she’s inside recreating that experience within her drawings and sculptures. It’s little wonder her creations reflect a playful, childlike imagination mixed with elements of the natural world. Sheryl’s most recent sculptures comprise of foraged natural fibres, feathers and rustic wire elements.
