It’s time to try a new dance fitness revolution!
We’ll take different rhythms, cultures, music, dances and fitness protocols to mix an easy and fun choreography.
Explore your body’s rhythm, relax, let go and have fun – first-time dancers, there’s nothing to fear!
In this beginners’ dance fitness class we will explore our responses to lyrics and rhythms.
There will be a combination of Latin and English songs to boogie to and we’ll have a warm up and cool down. Most importantly, we’ll be enjoying a fun workout and dancing as a group!
This dance fitness program has been created by Salsation® – a new dance fitness program that combines different rhythms and cultures with the feel-good sensations of dancing. We’ll be learning an easy choreography with a focus on musicality, lyrical expression and the human body.
Make sure you come dressed and ready for a workout!
Neerja, aka Ninja, is a biomedical engineer and budding entrepreneur, interested in all the creative arts under the sun! She started dancing at age 5 and is trained in Indian classical art forms, Latin dances and dance fitness programs (including Zumba™ and Salsation®), and is looking to establish her own! She is a consultant in the education sector but has an undying passion for tutoring and teaching dance that she works on part-time. She believes in not wasting a moment so being a big foodie, when she has more time, tends to fusion cooking and documenting her new recipe finds!
