What’s it all about?

A kooky pooch with attitude? Have a fun tactile experience creating your own small dog sculpture with air dry clay, then paint your mini sculpture with colourful dots!

What will we cover?

Squeeze, squash, pull and poke the clay until your dog materializes. Add a spot of paint, tongue hanging, mischievous eyes, wagging tail and…Bingo, dog made. It really is pretty easy. Yes, anyone can make a quick, quirky dog sculpture.

Who will be teaching?

Join Bronwyn Lewis, ceramic sculptor and owner-operator of Bron’s Art Studio in Sandringham. Bron works with air dry and earth clays to produce kooky sculptures of dogs and their owners getting up to mischief. She exhibits her work around Melbourne, teaches art and runs artist residency projects in schools. She was a featured artist demonstrator/exhibitor at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show in April. Bron is passionate about clay sculpture and wants to share the joy of creating a naughty hand made pooch. Her classes are very energetic and hands on with laughter and activity. She encourages everyone to ‘have a go’ it will be fun and you may just surprise yourself!
