What’s it all about?
Unlike many origami animals, flowers and ornaments, some origami models are designed to captivate with motion!
Some twist or expand, others flap their wings or jump across the table, but all of them are made with only paper; no cutting, no gluing – just folding!
What will we cover?
In this class we will make a couple of simple moving origami figures, but will focus on making one in particular – origami fireworks.
This modular design is colourful and simple to construct but is hypnotising to play with as it continuously spins and inverts on itself. The class will also cover the basics of origami and will use live projections to assist folding.
Who will be teaching?
